Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the 2017  Career Discovery Program is $3,600 and includes a kit of basic studio supplies. Please expect to purchase up to $300 or more in additional materials for projects throughout the course of the program.

A limited number of single occupancy rooms are available on-campus.  The cost per room for the length of the program is $1,700. Meals and miscellaneous costs are not included.

Students may use Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) on a fee-for-service basis. Harvard University is unable to provide health insurance for those participating in summer programs. Travel insurance is strongly recommended, particularly for international participants.

Access to Harvard athletic facilities is available for an additional fee of $150.   Athletic passes must be purchased in advance. Please contact the Career Discovery Program Manager, Kelly Teixeira Wisnaskas, for additional information.

Payment Policy
A nonrefundable application fee of $80 must accompany each application. If admitted, decision and tuition is due within two weeks.

Financial Assistance
Financial aid takes into account many factors; however, as a guide, if the applicant and/or parents (if appropriate) have a combined gross income that exceeds $40,000, an award is unlikely.

To apply, please submit a Financial Aid Application Form along with the required documentation online with your application.

Please Note: Career Discovery financial aid is not federally subsidized and is available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents only. International students are not eligible to apply. Applications for financial aid are submitted online through the program’s application portal and must be uploaded by May 1, 2017. Requests for aid will not be considered without a completed program application. Late applications will not be considered.
